CASA Accredited Private & Commercial Pilot Medicals
We conduct Private and Commercial Pilot Medicals from our Sandringham premises. Sandringham is situated in Melbourne’s bayside area, approximately 30 minutes from the CBD, 15 minutes from Moorabbin Airport, and 45 minutes from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).
Dr Andrew Harris completed the Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine in 2005 and has extensive experience conducting Aviation Medical Assessments.
Dr Andrew Leaver completed the Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine in 2010 and also has extensive experience conducting Aviation Medical Assessments.
Both doctors are full members of the Australian Society of Aerospace Medicine and are Designated Aviation Medical Examiners (DAMEs) accredited by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
We are able to conduct several components of your Aviation Medical during the same visit, including ECGs and blood tests, where required.
The Aviation Medical fee includes any reasonable future correspondence or dealings with CASA relating to your assessment, where required.
Appointments
Aviation Medical Assessments are conducted by appointment only and must be booked in advance.
New Aviation Medical Patients
- Full payment of the consultation fee is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
- Your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy
As Aviation Medical appointments are longer appointments reserved specifically for you, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or you fail to attend your appointment, the full consultation fee will be retained and is non-refundable.
